"Coward come back here and fight" Dandy calls after her once she's safely out of earshot. Hezaki glances around the clearing taking caution that this wasn't just some sort of gambit of her own. Dantalion nervously jams the last hot dog into his mouth and turns to his companion(s) "OK we gotta jet I'd rather deal with a million churches then one pissed off competent pixie you can stay here and be the gaurdian of a village of no people or come with us and put the world back together it's your call" and with that he dashes off into the trees headed outta this Satanael-damned forest. Hezaki gives Alice a sympathetic look before also beating feet for a hasty retreat.

The atmosphere changes immediately. A half-dozen pixies come flying at you, darting around and all speaking over each other. It's hard to make out what any of them are saying.
Another appears... you think. Most of the pixies are only a few inches, maybe a foot tall, with red hair, pale skin, wings, and blue leotards. This new creature's about two feet tall, olive-skinned with green hair... and flying despite wearing plate armor. More than that, she's surrounded by a glowing white aura. And then she opens her mouth and you're completely sure she's also a pixie.
"Hi! Yep, we need someone to go hunt down some foxes! They're really fast and bouncy. And they bite."
Dantalian
You start heading north, towards the church - you think. Hezaki soon catches up with you. It doesn't take long for Alice to join up behind you. She moves through the forest with a surprising grace. "I need to investigate a few things. I think it would be wise to stay with you for a while."
You make it back to the path, right at the split. North heads to that church, west towards those plains, east to home... and right in the center are 7 pixies, including Aeva, all excitedly chattering towards a tall, thin man with black hair and a teenage girl with brown hair and greyish skin.

You notice a... demon staring at you from the trees to the south. As well as what you think might be a white-haired male elf and a blonde, barefoot woman in a blue dress.
The pixies glance at them, then turn back to chattering at you.

Dandy smirks "See I told you she'd come around welcome to the team Alice" he says as they approach the clearing Hezaki rolls his eyes but, looks relived all the same. When Dantalion spots the pixies he squats down his rather imposing stature makes the effect rather meaningless though "OK we're heading West I gotta do something real quick you two go on ahead" he whispers Hezaki nods and begins heading towards the plains. As he takes off Dantalion summons the lucky pixie he made a pact with earlier "Hey hope orientation went well so here's the deal I need you to be my eyes and ears so basically just do what you were doing before but, pay more attention and do everything more spiteful get it got it good" With that he joins the others in their dash towards the plains

"Okay! Sounds good." I say to them, through Tilaran. "How many do you need me to catch? Oh, and once I catch them, what do you want me to do with them?"
Tilaran motions for me to get close, and whispers, "Don't look now, but there's a demon over there."
"Is it going to be a problem?"
"I don't know, but we should keep an eye on it. There are others with it too."

The demon sends out a pixie, then leaves. The pixie flies over and joins the other.
Tilaran's able to decipher from the excited chatter that you only need to capture the leader of the foxes, the one with a scar. It'll be easy to tell which one it is. They'd prefer you don't kill it (but won't stop you), and just want you to call them over when you beat it.
Dandy
Move to Plains.

"Let's do this," I say, before heading off into the forest, to look for the fox. I send Tilaran in a different direction.
Personally, I use telekinesis to brush plants aside so I can get through, and look around for foxes, or at least holes.

You split up and make your way through the forest. The pixies all stick around chatting nonsensically with each other.
As Tilaran goes along, she finds the forest getting darker and darker. She starts to hear scurrying coming from all different directions, see things moving in the shadows...
You find the forest easy to navigate. It's not long before you see a pair of small foxes. They glance at you, then dash into a bush.

Tilaran's Tale
As the forest gets darker, her footsteps slow. She suddenly stops, and listens. Then, as quick as lightning, she throws the heaviest small thing near her close tobut not directly at the noises.
Philemon's Tale
I use my telekinesis to pick them up, and drag them towards me. "Well well, what have we here? It may be cliched, but take me to your leader!"

Tilaran picks up a small rock and tosses it vaguely towards the shadowy creature. She hears a lot of rustling as something retreats a few feet, then lets out a hideous shriek.
You grab one of the foxes. Dragging it back is a little bit harder than you expected as it starts clawing at the dirt and yipping in panic. You tell it to take you to its leader, but it doesn't seem to understand you. It just keeps yelping.
You start to hear the bushes rustling from three different directions at once.

Tilaran grabs a stick, if convenient, and runs toward the shadowy creature.
Philemon lets go of the fox, climbs a little way up a tree, and telekinetically wields a sizable stone, threateningly.

Tilaran runs at the shadowy creature. It scurries back to maintain its distance and stay out of sight, making more growling noises.
She hears more scampering coming from all around her.
You clamber up a tree as another 6 foxes all come creeping out of the brush. One of them is larger than the others, with scar over one eye. It's glowing with a dark purple aura. You can feel a pulsating sensation coming from the orb tucked away inside your body.
They all surround the tree and stare at you. Growling.

Well, that's a leader if ever I saw one. I jump onto the fox leader, use a telekinetic blast to push everything else back, and teleport with it back to the pixies.
Tilaran takes a leaf out of my playbook, and climbs up a tree. She throws sticks down at the creatures, and awaits rescue.

You grab the leader fox. It starts flailing against your mental grasp and nipping at air. Then you teleport back to where the pixies were. They're still standing around chattering about something.
When you appear out of nowhere, they shriek and scatter into the forest.
Tilaran clambers partway up a tree. Something comes slithering out of the forest, dragging itself forward. Something big. A writhing mass of near-black, rubbery flesh, large as a truck. Tendrils and tentacles flail as it slides forward. It has fangs in places where it shouldn't have teeth. Everything about this creature is wrong and foreign and alien and horrible.
It continues sliding towards the tree at an imposing rate.

I call out calmingly to the pixies that I've caught the leader fox, and I lift the fox into the air and spin it to broadcast this message.
Tilaran gets down from the tree, and runs. She tries to go slow enough so she doesn't trip over anything, but absolute fear starts to creep into her heart.

You begin to show off the fox. The fox is clearly not happy about this turn of events. It starts growling at you. You start to feel very cold.
Tilaran runs at a measured clip. She can hear the creature keeping pace. As the forest around her begins to thin and the sunlight starts to filter in again, the creature slows down slightly, then breaks off its pursuit.
