You head to the massive church. You find that it's divided into several smaller buildings, each devoted to different faiths. You notice Naga is the most popular among the attendees gathered here. Grima and some giant angel lady - not that one, though you do notice some similarities - are also really popular.
North heads back to the fair. A path to the south winds into a large forest. West heads into the center of the large city proper, as well as that big castle. And east is a gaping, glowing hole in the ground.
A young blonde woman, probably in her mid-20's, is walking around outside. She stands out for two reasons. First, she's clearly a demoness and not even trying to hide it, with small horns, large wings, and a whip-like tail. Second is her outfit. Sandals, a proper skirt, a fluffy muffler, a giant cape, a fancy headdress... but her chest is covered with nothing but a pair of belts, and the whole outfit is in a fiery red color with black accents. She's walking around, trying to get anyone to talk to her. Everyone is making a point of avoiding her. You see her let out a discouraged sigh, then get back to work.

Well if everyone is ignoring the demoness of course X and Bowser will go see whats up.
"Hey what's up, why you look upset?" X asks.
Bowser is looking around and just kinda of follows X.

"Upset? Me? Never!" she announces. She plants her hands on her hips, then shrugs. "I'm just having some trouble getting people to listen to me. Once I get a few followers, though... Hey, do you know about The Red?"

Sorry never hear about the red (X says).
"The only red thing I know about is that annoying red plumber with the stupid mustache," Bowser grumbles.
"But if your willing to tell me about it, and I am willing to help,". "Me, this turtle dragon thing and well I have another friend who's a ghost king,". "Of course only if you would have us,".
"Hey who said you can volunteer like that," Bowser grumbles.
"Anyways what's this Red thing? X asks.

"The Red is the strongest of the chromatic dragons, and the leader of the three! He disappeared a few years ago, but he's been protecting the world from the background. And now he's ready to return to the public eye!" she explains enthusiastically. "Though... That's only in the Dragon Empire. I can just barely feel his presence here..." She scratches her cheek.

Oh okay so what can sell me on the Red then. What's in it for me for becoming a follower of the Red? How is he different from say this Naga or Grima person?
Chocobo X asks out of curiosity and almost like he wants to hear her sales pitch.
Bowser grows bored and wanders to a different part of the church.

"Well, for one, the Red could kick Grima's bitch ass. Also he's really protective of his followers. Even when no one was worshipping him, he was working to fight the... um..." The demoness trails off as she looks to a new arrival.
A young man with cat ears and a tail and a crow perched on his shoulder comes walking up. A flock of kittens bounces along in a line behind him, with a white-tailed kitsune walking behind them.
Kitty
You walk up to a huge church dedicated to... multiple different deities. Naga, Grima, the three goddesses, the star spirits... It looks like just about any group can worship here.
A large koopa is wandering around, looking bored. A chocobo-person is talking to Nyl, who looks like she's trying very hard to maintain her composure instead of charging you and your kitten train.

Pass by Nyl on the way to thr city. "Hi Nyl. Nice Chocobo." Each of the kittens let out a little nya when they walk by in their line.

Neat a line of Kittens and is that Kitty. I could swear that's soemone I know.
Bowser groans but even he cant help to ignore the line of cuteness walking by him.

Nyl starts to follow the kitten parade, then stops herself and comes back to you. "...What were we talking about again?"

Your bounding kitten train draws a lot of attention. It even stops Nyl from asking how you know who she is. You lead it right up to the town gate where a pair of Hylian soldiers and a toad armed with a spear stop you. The toad addresses you in a grating, high-pitched voice. "Hello! You're new! What's your business in Mushroom Castle Town!?"
The guards look at your kitten train.
"Nyaa."
"Nyaa."
"Nyaa."
"Nyaa."
"Nyaa."
"Nyaa."
"Nyaa."
"Nyaa."
"Nyaa."
...The last one was Crow, who is now wearing a cat-ear headband.

We were talking about The Red and why I should be a follower of him. But those were some cute kittens weren't they.
Bowser looks at the different followers and sees what the different religions are.

Bowser finds just about whatever you can think of just in case I need to add something later. But it looks like the biggest ones are the three goddesses, the star spirits, Naga, Grima, and Solgen - not in any particular order.
