Plot:
One amazingly fast construction later, and the show was already ready to begin! An orchestra played the nonspecific opening theme for the show, the Flying Monkey camera crew and stagehands were at their posts, the flares on the stage lit up everyone's evening, the lovely show hostess was bowing onstage with the spotlights on her, and the teleportation device behind her was already constructed and operational! All that was left was a live studio audience that wasn't composed entirely of cardboard cutouts of various anime characters (for nobody could attend in such short notice, and just leaving the seats empty would make them look bad). For now, stock audio of applause will have to do.
"Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now it's here. Or should I say, WELCOME TO THE SECOND COMING OF THE MAILBAG OF LEGENDS!!!"

"Thank you, thank you, you're all so kind! I see some fresh and lively new faces in the crowd, so let me give a rundown of what's going on here.
I am Anna, the lovely redhead hostess of Oz: Mailbag of Legends! This is a show where characters from Oz: Crossroad of Legends and related media are abduc-- I mean, transported to our talk show, and made to answer a number of questions submitted by you: the viewers! And of course, you should expect a lot of wacky hijinx along the way. Truth serum, bikinis, beating the tar out of my sisters with toy mallets, gratuitous fanservice, old-fashioned violence, you name it! Once they've been all questioned-out, they're sent right back to their world; no memories of what happened here, no evidence that what happened here happened, no time elapsing since they were brought here, and no sign that they ever left. ALL EVENTS THAT TRANSPIRE DURING THIS PROGRAM ARE STRICTLY NON-CANON.
Here's the step by step rundown of procedure around here. While we're starting off, we'll enter the NOMINATION PERIOD. Authors nominate any characters or groups of characters they would like to see enter the show. Major character? Minor character? Background character? Doesn't matter, they're all fair game! But remember to think twice about who you're nominating, because you might just regret it if that troll nomination ends up winning their own episode.
After that, is the VOTING PERIOD, where the nominations are listed (no new nominations are accepted during this time), the viewers and authors each make their votes (details and rules listed below), and the author of the top-scoring character will receive a notification that their character(s) will be the star(s) of the next episode of the mailbag. The author must then write up a small post and/or skit in this topic about their characters making their arrival onstage to confirm the episode's stars.
After that, is the QUESTIONING PERIOD. Anyone -- whether they are actively posting in Oz or not -- can PM the author that is currently in control of the spotlight character with various assortment of questions they can think of. Note that depending on the author and the quantity of questions, not all questions may get answered. At this point, the NOMINATION PERIOD also restarts.
After a period of whatever-the-writer-wants time, the person-of-the-episode then writes up a mailbag episode wherein the characters answers some or all of these questions (at the individual discretion of the writer). The contents of the episode can be whatever the user-in-charge wants. The only rule is that the questions should be answered as in-character as possible, so feel free to make up scenarios and questions that you feel viewers would see as entertaining. You can be as straight-laced as possible, or go completely bonkers. Want to go straight to the point, do you want a mini-story arc to go with it, or do you want to crank up the fanservice sexiness? Do as you please. You can have characters in normal attire, sexy attire, cosplay attire, some bizarre substance-abuse-induced attire, whatever! Worried that I -- the lovely miss Anna -- am acting out of character compared to how someone else wrote me? Who cares? There's a thousand different Annas anyway! Go wild!
Once the episode is done, the nomination period closes and we re-enter the VOTING PERIOD, and the vicious cycle begins anew.
Now, some of you may be wondering, 'Hey Anna, can I reference something that happened in a character's RP/CYOA of origin that hasn't been brought up in Oz?' Well the answer is... Yes. However, please be aware that not everyone is aware of the events that transpire in other works. As such, I encourage you to take steps to address this fact. Perhaps you include a short explanation of the significant events or people that are being referenced? Perhaps you address only a few of them so that 3/4s of the episode isn't talking about something ignorant viewers wouldn't understand? That is all up to the writer and question-maker. Be considerate for others.
For now though, I think that about covers the basics. Since we're starting off, we're kicking off with the NOMINATION PERIOD. Again, if you -- that is, the writers -- have a character you wish to have participate in the show, simply say their names, and they will be nominated for an episode based on them. You may also group a multiple of characters into one group; for instance, a brother-sister minor character duo, or a team of four vigilantes. Note that if you take this route, it is recommended that the group actually possess some kind of relation with each other.
Am I missing something? Eh, if I am, I'll just come back and clarify later. For now, on with the mailbag!!"

VOTING DIRECTIONS:
A cloaked figure sat at the far corner of this sorry excuse for a tavern she was called to, absentmindedly fiddling with a coin, practicing rolling it between her fingers, humming a little tune called "Agh! Won goph in mah mouph! Blech! Ptooey!".
If you don't immediately recognize who this mysterious woman is, you haven't been paying the slightest bit of attention.
She smiled smugly when another cloaked figure -- a masculine one, this time -- sat on the opposite side of the table.
"Did you do it?"
The masculine figure slapped a flier on the table. It read "Orichalcus: Another Realm".
The feminine figure chuckled. "What did it cost?"
The man dropped a newspaper over the flier, a headline reading "Promising Start Gone Bust: Director Mystically Vanishes!", then turned to the economics page, showing the man's assets in sharp decline into negative numbers as a direct result of his failed blockbuster hit until it was all gone. Reduced to atoms.
The woman chuckled. "You could not live with your failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me."
The man explained that he thought it would finally be the hit he needed to make himself a household name.
"Reality is often disappointing", replied the woman. "I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right, yet to fail nonetheless. It's frightening, turns the legs to jelly. I ask you, to what end?"
The man said he invited her here to revive a special little something. A certain... Mailbag show.
Anna smiled and drew her hood back.
"Let's do 'em properly this time."
The hostess and the director stood up and walked in unison towards the door... Interrupted by Anna bumping into a small child.
"Oh! I'm sorry, little one."
They continued their stride out the door.

VOTING DIRECTIONS:
Rank the characters you would like to see in three ranks. 1st place counts as three votes, 2nd counts as two votes, and 3rd counts as one vote.
For example:
1. Simon
2. Richter
3. British Imperialism
Simon would receive three votes, while Richter would get two votes, and British Imperialism would get one vote. As you can probably guess, the one with the most votes will be the one who gets the next episode. In the event of a tie, a 24-hour speed period will take place, where posters must give 1 vote to the tie votes. If THAT also results within a tie, the winner will be determined by RNG/a coin flip (you'll just have to take my word for the results). The winner will be notified via PM about their victory, and they shall write a short skit in this topic about them suddenly being transported into the show.
YOU CANNOT VOTE FOR YOUR OWN CHARACTER(S)!!
