You head to a nearby tavern that seems pretty popular and spend the winnings on some bowls of stew. It's good, not great. But it is certainly warm and filling, and you can see why this place is popular.

Colette stares at you, silently. Then she glances at the book's title. Then she looks at the end of a bookshelf listing what genre of books to find there. She blinks. "...But..." she trails off, clearly wanting to comment but unsure what to say.

Rishan picks up shortly after Coletee cuts herself off "But, I am leaning away from Mage Knight and Magical Girl as those are paths my elder siblings have already trodden but, I also feel that it is rather foolish to charge into a specialization you never know what you might be good at or enjoy before you do it"

"...Maybe..." Colette says quietly. She adjusts herself in her seat, making herself more comfortable. Over the course of the day, she actually relaxes a bit while you read together. You actually see a finger reaching from her sleeve at one point, and you think you see a toe poke out. And you're not entirely sure, but you think you even get a glimpse of her neck when she turns to look at the window.

You look around through the books for a while, unable to find any books about spell theory. The old lady clerk eventually notices you circling and looking increasingly frustrated. She asks if she can help you. When you explain what you're looking for, she asks if you're a student. When you say you are, she lets you into a door behind the counter. There's a small selection of spellcraft books, and you spend some time looking for books involving teleportation. Eventually you find something.
Misha
Misha manages to find a short biography on some of the leaders of the rebellion, most of them from the alchemist's guild, along with a handful of non-alchemists in the noble class.
Indy
You head to town and stroll around. You reach the central plaza to find Iora swimming around in the fountain. Hero, heading into town, pauses to watch her, then glances at you as if to ask if you think you should stop her. You spot Darius and Erin coming walking down from the college chatting with each other.

You spend the day reading about teleportation theory. Turns out people aren't completely sure how it works. There's a lot of different theories ranging from moving through alternate dimensions to long-ranged cloning to combining extreme speeds and momentum nullification. By the time you finish, you're only really sure about one thing about teleportation: it just works.

Hero frowns. "My tribe has its own religion and whatnot... but..." he points at the goddess statue watching over the fountain. "Is it not a bit... sacrilegious? She is getting quite a few dirty looks..."

Indy puts his arms behind his head and looks a bit annoyed. "ah well, if the vibe is harsh then i guess we should stop her. i aint got better things to do so lets find her chill place to let loose."
he walks up to her. "ayy, how bout we find a cooler spot to splash around? the people round here look like theyre bout to start poppin off in a unfun way"

Misha sighs with disappointment. Nothing new here, nothing I didn't already know, and nothing to clear my family's name...
She stares at one particular name on the page with something akin to anger in her eyes, then closes the book and goes to find a Librarian.
"Excuse me. I'm a student of the mage school. Do you know where I could find more material on the Alchemist Rebellion?"

Iora submerges into the fountain, then pops her head out near you. "I don't understand what you're saaaaaaaying," she say.
"Some members of the populace seem to take offense to you swimming in that fountain, Iora," Hero translates. "Let's go find somewhere else. I think there's a lake on the mountain?"
"I don't wanna hike all the way up the mooooountain again, I did it ye-e-e-e-esterday," Iora complains.
"I think there's some smaller fountains that people won't mind you using over that way..." Hero suggests, pointing to the northwest.
"Fi-i-i-i-i-i-ine," she says. She slips under the water again, then pops out and rolls out of the fountain before slinking off.
Hero turns to you. "I appreciate the assistance." He glances after Iora. "Though I do hope she'll be OK, walking around damp in this cold..."
Ray
By the time you finish reading, it's already early evening. As you emerge from the bookstore, you find that the southern side of town is alive with people filtering to taverns and restaurants.
Near the plaza you spot Iora, dripping wet, talking with Misha and Darius. They split up, with Iora making her way back towards the college while the other two turn south towards the nightlife. Collette is standing in front of the fountain, staring up at the fountain of the goddess, silent and unmoving as the statue.
Misha
The elderly bookstore owner adjusts her glasses. "That is an extremely popular subject among scholars. We have many books on the subject, and I could make some recommendations depending on what you're looking for. What exactly are you attempting to examine?"
