"OK, then." Erin drops a few coins on the table and slinks off, flicking her tail against your back as she passes. "See you back at the store."
As you head out in search of a bakery, you spot a few of the others from school... putting on a performance?
Rishan
You don't have any trouble finding the bookstore from before. You head inside and present the receipt, explaining you're picking things up for Colette. The shopkeeper, remembering seeing the two of you together before, nods and disappears for a bit. She hobbles back with a half-dozen tomes of various sizes. Most seem to be about the local mythology. You could spend some time poking through them.
Cantrelle
You make your way to the city and head towards the center of town. A few other groups are split around town performing, and it takes some time to find a good place far enough from the others.
"Right!" Alice says. "So, what does everyone know how to do? I can sing, but I'm much better at dancing."
"I know some classic songs," Fenian says. "I even studied some of the local ones in your language."
"You should probably dance with me then, Iora."
"That sounds haaaaaard..." Iora says.
"You'll be cute," Alice promises. "What are you doing, Cantrelle?"

Misha winds around the outside of the performance areas, not quite avoiding the areas, but sticking to the background. She watches some of it, mostly just out of curiosity, while focusing on finding a good bakery.

You flip through the books for a bit. Looks like a lot of the local legends relate, unsurprisingly, to weather phenomenon. Giant monsters causing snow, mostly, including a large, hairy dragon-like thing that supposedly stands on top of the mountain and blows blizzards down at the town. Another book has some more grounded discussions on the local fey. Another book is about some sightings of a large sea monster supposedly marooned in the mountaintop lake. The last book you find mentions giant bat-beasts that roam the forest at night, sucking on the blood of passerby.
Misha
You pause to watch Cantrelle, Iora, Alice, and Fenian performing some foreign folksong before continuing. You find a small bakery near the outskirts of town with some fresh-made sweets and buy a few before heading back to the school.
Move to Dormitories
Cantrelle
"Hmph. Well, someday sooner or later I'll convince you to join me in dancing instead," Alice boasts. "I mean, I know you're good at fiddling, but I want to see how well you move. But I guess it's Iora's turn today."
"No-o-o-o-o..." Iora whines as Alice twirls her around. Despite the protests, she actually keeps up, somewhat. She tries, at least.
Fenian begins singing, changing between some awkwardly performed local songs and much better sounding but incomprehensible foreign songs. A handful of travelers stop and watch you for a bit, a few even leaving some change for you.
As the day grows late, Iora starts to become visibly exhausted and Fenian's voice starts to go. Eventually, Alice relents. "Good job, everyone. Want to use our earnings to split dinner before we head back?"
"I wanna swim in the laaaaake, but it's too laaaaate," Iora says. "So I'm gonna go swim in the fooouuuuntain some instead. Byyyyye."
"I... believe I would like some time alone before tomorrow. I will return first and bathe," Fenian says. He gives you and Alice a small bow before he leaves, following Iora for a way before splitting off.
"Well, better than nothing!" Alice says cheerfully. "We got to do at least some bonding, and it was definitely a good workout. So? Wanna put up the fiddle and join me for a dance before we call it a day?"

Rishan makes a mental note to ask Colette to borrow the book on Fey before carefully gathering them up and heading to the tavern waving goodbye to the shop-keep on the way out

The old lady nods at you as you leave. You pass through the center of town and head towards the south in search of a tavern with a smaller crowd. As you go, you notice two of your classmates putting on a show. A small crowd is gathered to watch them.
Rishan, Cantrelle
"Oh... Yeah, I guess you can do a step dance or something, huh," Alice says. She grabs Cantrelle's hands and swings her around before the two launch into a dance. Alice moves with reckless abandon, flinging out sparks and flashes of magic with wide, sweeping movements.

You spend a few minutes dancing with Alice. By the time you're done, you're exhausted. Even Alice seems tired, not that she doesn't try to hide it. You collect the handful of coins you earned throughout the day and return home.
