Ray will visibly smile and nod at Iora as a sign of greeting, but will walk towards Collette.
With massive interest, but no manners whatsoever on letting her finish whatever she's doing, Ray will ask her a question.
"I assume you know the story of what's represented by this fountain? I would like to know myself... If you want to share, of course!"

Collette jumps when you approach. She quickly grabs her hat and pulls it down over her face. "D... Dunno," she mutters. "I'm not religious, I don't recognize it. The goddess of creation, probably. Or some local deity..."
Indy
"Oh, well, I'm not wandering the town for any particular purpose," Hero explains. "I merely haven't had any proper opportunity with which to explore the locale." He looks around the plaza for a moment, then turns in the direction he sent Iora. "From a cursory examination, I assumed that section was the most likely to have another fountain... Hm. Perhaps we should shadow her. Or perhaps you could function as my guide and showcase the area for me?"

Ray's eyebrows raise in doubt, but he shrugs it off.
"Well... Okay... If you say so... Sorry to have bothered you."
He starts walking to get back into school, but turns around before entering.
"It's okay to believe in what you want though."
He'll reenter the school, not waiting for a response and go see if Balthazar is in the dorm room.

"What? Bu-" Collette protests as you leave.
When you get back to the dorms, Balthazar is staring a letter. He quickly folds it up and shoves it in his desk as you enter. He tries to do it nonchalantly, but it's not very convincing. "...Hello."
Misha
"I have many books on such subjects." The old lady adjusts her glasses and gestures to a wide shelf full of books. "You'll need to be more specific. I assume you're interested in how the remnants of the Alchemist Guild turned into the mage college today?"
Indy
Hero hesitates, then nods. "I suppose I've no better to do." You follow after Iora as she walks unhesitantly into the noble district. She wanders around for a bit, slowly trudging along as she looks for fountains. She spots a few that are tucked away behind fences and gates before she finally finds a simple one in a small park. She frowns, but doesn't slow down as she rolls in.
"Well! Our piscine-esque friend seems to be satisfied enough with the substitute. She does seem to have quite the fascination with water..."
Cantrelle
You enter town, think about where you haven't been, and decide to wander around the upscale part of town for a bit. There's a few fancy shops near the plaza, for jewelry and potions and fine clothes. Moving on, and you find increasingly large houses. As you go further, you find more fences and gates and the houses become mansions. And then you find a nice park, complete with benches and a fountain and hedges and Iora and flowers. Hero and Indy seem to be spying on Iora for some reason.

Ray will blink in disbelief, with a grain of anger.
"Again?! I'm just going to say it straight, I have reasons to doubt everyone and you're looking extra suspicious...
Just... I don't care if you want to hide something from your personal life.
Just know that if you turn out to be a Rogue Mage infiltrating the school, I'll punch you in the face until I'm satisfied.
No spells, just punches."

Misha nods. "Partially, yes, but I'm most interested in the overall aftermath of the rebellion and what happened to the people involved. Were there trials? Executions? Did any of the leaders survive and escape?"

Cantrelle walks up to Hero and Indy, looking at Iora with a bemused expression.
“Yeah, she kinda just... does that sometimes. I’ll go see if she wants to go to the lake, that’s probably better than swimming in the fountain.”
And with that, she approaches Iora.

"What are you talking about?" Balthazar seems more than a little annoyed himself. "It's a message from my parents. My family business is not of your concern."
Misha
"Ah... Let me see. I think this will be what you're looking for." She runs her finger along a row of books before stopping at a particularly thick tome. "This details the end of the rebellion in careful detail... Not only the fates of most of the leaders, but things such as political maneuvering and changes, resources, things like."
Cantrelle, Hero
"Yes, she is... 'vibing,' as Indy says," Hero says.
Iora pops her head out of the water as Cantrelle approaches. "Hi-i-i-i-i-i Cantrelle. Wanna jo-o-o-o-o-oin me? The water's great... And people aren't staring like at the pla-a-a-a-a-aza. And the lake's better but it's so far away, it's already too late to hike all the way u-u-u-u-up there and back..."
"Well, those two seem quite content, so shall we continue our tour?" Hero suggests.
