Rishan approaches the elven student again "So Fenian first an answer alliterative is when the the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words occur in this case Fenian and Ferran. Second a query is it safe to assume this is your first time in a Lanillan settlement?"

"Understood. Enjoyment will commence post-haste." Selfless walks out listlessly, heading outside in the direction of the town to find bugs to chase.

Selfless

You start to leave and think you hear a giggle behind you.  When you look back, Colette is calmly adjusting her cloak.  No obvious source.  You begin to comb the mountain and surrounding village.  It quickly becomes apparent that it's difficult to locate bugs than expected in this climate.  You get a few looks from people, but no one bothers to intervene.  Before you locate any bugs in need of chasing, it's time to return for dinner.


Rachael

"Hero."  The beastman holds out his hand, then quickly pulls it back.  You notice him flexing his hand a bit, sharp claws sliding back into his fingers, before he tries again and shakes yours.  He looks back at the arena.  "Duels... Eventually, perhaps.  I think you might be correct about it being for some kind of test.  It might be wise to start considering what kind of test."  Hero nods to himself.  "I am going to return to exploring the school.  I will see you at dinner."

Everyone

You head back to the school and into the cafeteria.  And older woman and a young man are just finishing setting out a set of pots and pans on a pair of serving tables.  "Come, come.  You are all just in time!" the older lady says.  "Did you enjoy exploring Valorwind and the school?"

"Let 'em eat in peace, Ma."

"Don't sass me, boy!  And the rest of you.  Don't get used to eating like this!  It's a special occasion!"  It looks like a small feast.  "Tried to find something you'll all enjoy.

Iora is staring at some small fish, her mouth visibly watering.  Hero is trying very hard to pretend he's not looking at some kind of weird roasted beast.  Erin looks up and down then freezes, eyes widening as she stares at a shallow bowl of what look like frozen beetles, slowly twitching.

The seating has been broken up into 5 tables with 4 seats each.

Alice is sitting with Colette, chatting away while the silver-haired girl looks like she's trying to mentally escape without moving.

Balthazar and Gwen have taken over another table.  Neither seems to be particularly interested in the other.

Erin takes a seat at one of the empty tables.  No one seems too enthusiastic to go sit with her and her plate of wriggling bugs...

The other two tables remain empty, for now.

Ray will glance at Iora eying the fish, then mutter to himself.

"Your story is boring huh? We'll see about that... We certainly have the same choice of food."

Ray will pick up the fish, but as he notices people seem repulsed by Erin, he'll go sit on her table, in front of her.

"Hello, I'm Ray Talos. I'd ask about your story, but I think I realise not everyone wants to talk about themselves..."

Racheal

Racheal grabs a modest plate of food mostly just meat, a couple of potatoes, and a leafy green vegetable.

She kinda of just wants to try and take in the atmosphere today. She sees the table with Alice and Colette. She at least met Colette and kinda of knows her.

Racheal makes her way to the table with Colette and the chatty girl.

"Hello do you have room for one more?". "I believe I met one of you Ms. Colette already,". "But I don't think I met you yet Ms?". "My name is Racheal,". "What is your name Ms.?" Racheal asks.

Racheal will try to steer the girl to talking to her and giving Colette some time to breath.

Misha takes a bit more time to choose her food, then goes to sit down next to Erin, unfazed by the bugs. She looks at Ray curiously, but says nothing.
